Conversion of old Water Tank into a Music Hall
Site Area: 6450 s.m.
Building Area: 1580 s.m.
LMF will function as a public space for events and activity connected to the city, open to all visitors promoting musicality and art. As one major intervention in an urban void it will give a push for the further development of such areas in the city. The exterior space of the site becomes an open platform for musicians, artists and visitors to meet. Consisting of plateaus in different levels following the existing ground topography, a large art plazza in front of the building with temporary open stages, an open bar and hubs for creative development it becomes an open ground for new experiences, ensuring at the same time seamless rotation for the users.
The interior is seperated in two distinct functions, an open space / live stage for various artistic events and spaces with recording studios and meeting areas for the artists.
