The proposal is a simple volumetric synthesis organized longitudinally and trying to occupy the site in an optimum way so as for the clinic to function well, while being harmonized with the surrounding environment and climate. Each of the volumes designed, represents a specific function or a group of “compatible” uses. The structure is made of steel and the exterior walls of the western side of the building are glazed and wrapped in an expanded aluminum screen. The building expresses in a transparent nature as the expanded metal sheets generate a bright interior. The surrounding scenery comes and goes softly through the mesh as the user moves in the building. Through the volume positioning and the use of transparency the exterior and interior limit blends with the landscape while at the same time the building program is organized clearly. The users (doctors and patients) can experience the space in various ways as the day and seasons go by and the scenery changes.
